Overseer Andre Landers
Senior Pastor, iThrive Christian Church
Overseer Andre Landers is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He is married to Yvette Landers, affectionately known as Lady E by the iThrive Christian Church family. Together they are the proud parents of Devin and Morgan Landers, as well as Elijah (Kayla), Martin and John Jakes! They are also ecstatic grandparents to Kai Corinne Jakes and Elijah Jakes Jr.
He received his Bachelors in Administration and Marketing at the State University of West Georgia in 1988. After college, his professional careers included corporate business experience in Home Healthcare and Hotel Management.
Overseer Landers served as a youth minister and associate minister at New Birth Missionary Baptist church. He furthered his ministry education at Beulah Heights Bible College and the Interdenominational Theological Seminary.
His calling as a pastor was recognized by Bishop Eddie Long and he was sent forth to begin his service in ministry as Senior Pastor of New Birth South Metropolitan in 2001. The ministry grew and changed its name to Higher Living Christian Church in 2008 and the ministry’s current name is iThrive Christian Church.
Overseer Landers has served the communities of Clayton, Henry and Fulton Counties for 16 years. He has also worked closely with schools, community and business leaders to improve the lives of its citizens through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Overseer Landers has positively impacted the lives of tens of thousands of people through his own walk with God and his transparent and didactic preaching style. Overseer Landers has shared the word of God in such a way that even the youngest listener can embrace and live out the message of the gospel.
Overseer Landers is covered in ministry by his spiritual father Bishop Joseph Warren Walker III. He is also a part of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship.
Through many ups and downs, Overseer Landers has remained steadfast in his calling.He and his wife are committed to growing in Christ, sharing the love of God and their life experiences for the edification of the Body of Christ.
